Sports Venue Safety and Security Training

Ticket Taker Training

Your staff's main role as a ticket taker is to admit only authorized individuals into the venue. Whether they tear the ticket or scan the bar code, they are responsible for validating entrance into the event. Taking tickets will provide your staff the opportunity to talk with guests, listen to conversations, watch behavior, and check for prohibited items.

You will also assist other team members in enforcing facility and venue regulations, maintaining order, ensuring safety, and providing customer service. Being able to identify, assess, and evaluate safety and security risks is another important task you perform.

A ticket taker always needs to be professional and calm when dealing with problems and conflict resolution.

You must always Be Alert, Be Vigilant, to Be Safe!

The ticket taker training lessons consist of:

Lesson 1: Responsibilities of Ticket Takers
