Description:
This workshop will address security staff training as it pertains to collegiate or professional sport venues. The training needs for effective security management, curriculum for supervisory staff as well as sport security line staff and evaluation tools will be presented. The contents of the workshop will include:
• Introduction
• Identify staff training needs
• Describe the essential training levels
• Provide curriculum for supervisory staff
• Provide curriculum for sport venue staff i.e. ushers, ticket takers, gate security and parking attendants
• Describe evaluation processes
