Sport Safety and Security Workshop

Description:

A core homeland security mission is to reduce the nation’s vulnerability to acts of terrorism by protecting critical infrastructures such as sport stadiums and arenas. This workshop will address sport risk management and assessment process along with safety and security measures which need to be in place at sport venues to assure effective safety and security management. This workshop is designed for the executive sport management team and senior security staff.

The training will address protective measures as it pertains to the facility emergency action plan. The essential baseline, policies and procedures and post event components of protective measures will be presented.

The contents of the workshop will include:

• Introduction
• Risk in Real
• Risk Assessment Process
• Look at vulnerabilities and consequence reduction measures
• “Best Practices” operational policies and procedures and safety and security measures
• Sport Security Aware Process
