Sport Risk Management Preparedness Training
Description:
The sport risk management workshop is focused in building capabilities for multi-agency collaboration. Intact sport event security action teams (SESAT) will learn basic concepts relative to planning, risk assessment, training, exercising, and business continuity and recovery through scenario-based curriculum. SESAT teams may be representative of facility managers, law enforcement, emergency management, emergency medical, fire/HazMat, public health, and public relations.
The contents of this workshop will include:
• Assessment of threats
• Multi-agency collaboration
• Sport security planning
• Sport event security measures
• Staff training for sport event security
• Risk assessment
• Training and exercises for sport event incidents
• Emergency response and recover to sport event incidents
