Description:

Reducing the nation’s vulnerability to acts of terrorism by protecting critical infrastructures (stadiums and arenas) and key assets from attack and natural incidents is a core homeland security mission. This workshop provides an overview of protective measures designed to assist sport organizations in planning and managing security at their facilities. The course will highlight effective planning, organization, coordination, communication, operations, and training activities that result in a safe sports event experience.
