Security for Special Events Workshop

Description:

The challenges of securing a special event are complex due to the immense crowds, duration of the event, large scale temporary work force, traffic into and out of the event, and challenges associated to live network television broadcast. Large public gatherings encompass many disparate events and activities. They include, but not limited to, sport events, parades, fairs, festivals, rallies, flea markets, demonstrations, concerts, and conventions. This workshop is designed for facility managers/owners and staff, sponsors, local multi-agency security personnel i.e. law enforcement, emergency management, fire HAZmat, and emergency medical.
