Frank Baker, Robinson & Cole LLP
Frank L. Baker III is a Real Estate partner at Robinson & Cole LLP in Stamford, CT. His national practice embraces a full range of real estate project legal management, including real estate financing, retail and commercial leasing, joint ventures for all types of real estate development, tax-advantaged transactions, and economic redevelopment projects.
Mr. Baker has lectured on various topics of interest to the bar, including advanced courses on commercial leasing and financing. He is an honors graduate of Yale University (1968) and the University of Virginia Law School (1973), where he was a member of the Virginia Law Review. Mr. Baker is a lifetime Cooper Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation and is active in community and bar association affairs.
While on active duty in Vietnam as a sergeant in the Military Police Corps, he was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Baker currently serves as chairman of the Connecticut Chapter of The Counselors of Real Estate, as a board member of the Yale Club of Stamford, as vice president of the Stamford Center for the Arts, and as parliamentarian of the State Street Debating Society. Mr. Baker is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York.
